Neowave, Illustrator & Photoshop Illustrations – Gateway into brilliant mind of James White

All of the great wise men went deep into the desert to seek knowledge. Is there something magical and unknown there or they were just experiencing Fata Morgana? Are all of our strange experiences just a mirage, great illusion created somewhere in back of our minds? What was so important that Biblical figures like Moses and Jesus himself went there? I remember reading that even Aleister Crowley spent some time in the desert performing his rituals back in the day. How strange and fascinating! There’s no wonder that these inspirational pieces focus exactly on this subject. James White, Canadian visual artist, designer and speaker decided to play with our curious and knowledge craving minds. His Out of This World creations spawn unique place where possible meets the inconceivable. These Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop illustrations series are named Neowave. Let us explore every single one of them.

As long as I can remember myself I was fascinated with geometrical patterns. Later on I developed a huge craving for art as well. These Photoshop illustrations combine both into one fascinating experience. Figures seem reluctant in stepping into new dimension. Wouldn’t you be? My curiosity was always stronger then my fear of the unknown, so I am definitely in! Colors in these pieces are just amazing. What would otherwise seam like an ordinary landscape changes into magic in a split of a second. Portal has opened. You can almost feel the unusual vibe of the emerging universe. It is nothing like our safe haven we call home.

Emerging planet we stumbled upon while entering the great mind of James White is slightly abstract. Laws of Physics seam to work just fine, but they don’t seem to apply to absolutely everything. Huge Pyrmid is hovering in the air keeping us in awe with its reflective beauty. Dune, Stargate and Martian seem to collide in this piece and I absolutely love it.

Next piece is definitely on spiritual side. I recognized the huge hovering shape as Merkaba. Seeing huge geometrical shape like this in the sky would send chills down my spine. Merkaba is defined as a vehicle believe it or not. It is allegedly used by ascended masters to connect with and reach those in tune with the higher realms. Way to connect the dots there sir! Mystical powers of this shape are widely discussed. But there is no denying that its perfection is making this illustration great.

Mysterious shapes coming out from the ground are not defined as something we might recognize. However they must be either dangerous or important as these figures are armed and ready for anything.

This illustration looks like an epic scene from a movie. I can only imagine these great pyramids as a UFO’s.

Final piece is representing huge crystal structures emerging from the ground. James’s art leaves us with many questions about his otherworldly visions. One thing is for certain, this was one epic journey!
