Otherworldly visage from an iPhone, what’s not to like?

It’s amazing how humans can accept something incredible and after a while it turns in to a mundane. One hundred year ago people thought of flying as interesting concept but that it would never truly take in. We are flying around a world now and we don’t even think how amazing that is. I guess it was always like that. Somewhere in ancient Rome, mother of artist was yelling at him to stop leaving his naked people statues everywhere and thought nothing of how amazing they are. Well lucky for us there are people out there who can see past the banality of day-to-day hassle and create something wonderful. With just an iPhone, no less.

My friends, I don’t know about you, but I am huge fan of paradoxes. What’s not to like there? They are impossibilities and this artist plays with them like a master. He tricks the eye and boggles the mind. And he just all that by just using his iPhone. Yes, we regular folk use this things to text, check social networks or whatever you young folk do. Facespace or Mybook or something. And someone out there in the world makes this universe even more awesome.

In this creations you can see the future, the past, the fears and hope. You can see familiar and the alien. You can see dreams come to life. And it is full of magic. M.C. Escher would be proud of this photos. I doubt mister Escher could even recognize the function of iPhone though. We all need some pick-me ups once in a while and for me, this worked wonders.

“Just with iPhone? This is awesome, I want to see more”- you say.

This breathtaking pictures are created by Charlie Davoli. You can check his Instagram to see more of his work. By his admission he uses iPhone apps like superimpose, PsTouch, iDesign and similar. Looking at them, you could forget that all of this were made on machine not much bigger than your hand. Makes you think what else humans are capable of doing when they put their minds to it.
