Inspiration for me it is anything that crashes with my mind – leaves some special trace, wakens up my curiosity, doesn’t let to forget about itself. These are elements from life, nature, art. I didn’t invented polymer clay clock. I filtrated that idea and stamped it with my own soul.

First, I used polymer clay for practical reason – it was break resistant, durable. While exploring this material I discovered I can change it density from fluid to stone and so have more possibilities. Thanks to that features I am able create so many textures. I also love sculpting tiny, precise forms and polymer clay is perfect medium for it.

I have already started new series of insect like clocks – these will include anatomical elements of insects – eyes, antenna, wings, legs, hair! And i have one more clock-related project in mind – top secret now! Can’t speak about far future, because that’s rather spontaneus thing in my life. For sure I’d like to break my artistic limits, creates „less practical” forms and bigger sculptures… I hope polymer clay will stick with me for some time.
